Apple breaks another record sales shares go up 3

Apple is back to growth after a strong demand for the iPhone 7 helped the company post record numbers in the holiday quarter. Sales of the new smartphone sent total iPhone shipments 5% up to a record during the October-December period. Phones are 2/3 of Apple’s sales and they boosted companys revenue 3% to record $78.4 billion.

App Store also marked a raise - revenue was $7.2 billion, which is more than many tech companies at all. Wall Street Journal reminds that the store had nearly three times more sales than Netflix. After announcing the official results, shares rose 3% to more than $125 each.

The negative side of the report is that China remains a weak spot for Cupertino, where the company lost positions to local companies like Oppo and Huawei.

Nokias 3 5 and 3310 are still due for June launch in UK

The new quartet of Nokia smartphones has gathered a big interest on Clove UKs online store. The retailer has was recently asked by HMD Global/Nokia UK to stop pre-orders because the maker felt its too early for those.

But Clove assures buyers that pre-orders for the Nokia 3, 5 and the new 3310 will be renewed in just a couple of days. The retailer also mentioned that interest in the three devices was very high.

Clove confirmed that the release estimates havent changed and the phones will start shipping in June and that the dates on Cloves listings are legitimate.

Currently the Nokia 3310 and Nokia 6 store pages say Launching in June while the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 listings say June 30th.

Outside of Cloves retail channel the Nokia 3310 will be released in the UK a bit earlier, on May 24.
